Marginal Revolution (via BBC) points to a decision by the Nepalese government to "nudge" away the staff at Kathmandu's main international airport from taking bribes by supplying them with trousers without pockets. It is hoped that this would rob rent seekers off their favorite hiding locations.
By the same logic, how about removing drawers from under the tables in government offices? Or banning hand baggage from inside government offices?
